Greetings,
My name is William J. Davidson and I will be your art instructor. I wanted to take some time out to tell you a little about myself.
Since the age of 8, I’ve been fascinated with illustration and design. My love for visual arts began with comic books and cartoons. Once I learned that there were people drawing these images, I took to learning how to create these great images myself. Learning how to draw was pivotal for me. My passion for illustration and design took over from there. I’ve gone from drawing simplistic stick figures to designing logos for hospitals. I initially wanted to be an architect, but I realized that there was more room for my own creativity when a 3D animation seminar in college swayed me over to graphic design. Once I changed my major, I knew from the first class that I was finally where I wanted to be. Being exposed to the history and vastness of the creative world continues to drive me today. I’m never going to be done with the learning process because there’s always something new and there’s always knowledge to be gained.
I have over 10 years of teaching experience and a diverse artistic background. I plan to bring my knowledge, skills, and passion for art to the classroom to inspire my students. Art is a part of everything we do and I want to expose my students to the vast opportunities in the Art Industry. I can’t wait to get started on this journey with my students!
